Tuesday - Sunday: 10.00hrs - 17.00hrs (Guided tours on the hour; Re-enactments carried out all day long).
Adult: €10; Children (under 16yrs): € 5 and Old Age Pensioners € 8. A Heritage pass is available from all our sites costing only € 25. This grants an indisvidual acces to Fort Rinella, Malta at War, Saluting Battery and Lascaris War Rooms and includes free transport.
FREE TRANSPORT to this attraction from the Saluting Battery & Malta at War Museum is available. Ask at the museum reception.
Please Note: We do not open on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

The Saluting Battery (Valletta)

THIS SITE IS CURRENTLY INNACCESIBLE TO THE PUBLIC DUE TO INFRASTRUCTURAL WORKS.
AS A RESULT, THE DAILY FIRING OF THE NOON-DAY GUN AT 12.00HRS HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY TRANSFERED TO THE UPPER BARRACCA (NEXT TO THE KIOSK). THE DAILY GUN FIRING STARTS WITH SHORT COMMENTARY. THIS DISPLAY IS CURRENTLY OFFERED FOR FREE BUT A DONATION OF AT LEAST €2 IS ADVISED TO HELP FOR THE RUNNING COSTS.
FOR DIRECTIONS PLEASE FOLLOW SIGN POSTS WITHIN THE UPPER BARRACCA GARDEN.
THE SALUTING BATTERY WILL RE-OPEN FOR REGULAR PUBLIC VISISTING IN MAY 2011.

This attaction can be located from Battery Street, adjacent to the Upper Barracca Gardens in Valletta following sign posts.
