Tour of Church of St Barbara

Earlier this week, Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna held its very first tour of the Church of Saint Barbara in Valletta. The tour, led by FWA Chairman Mario Farrugia, focused on the history of the church, the role of the Confraternity of Saint Barbara and its bombardier members, the cult of Saint Barbara, and FWA’s plans to restore the church to its former glory.
