New Interpretation at the Malta Time-Gun Museum

A new set of self-standing interpretation signs were today added at Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna's Malta Time-gun Museum in Valletta. The signs provide useful information about each of the artillery pieces on display there and which once were in use at the Saluting Battery whether as part of the saluting armament or as a time-gun. Each sign includes a period photograph showing the respective gun emplaced at the Saluting Battery. This museum which documents the history of the nearby Saluting Battery is fast becoming one of the foremost visitor attractions in Valletta. A record number of visitors had visited it last year and records show that even more are visiting it this year!
