HRH Duke of Edinburgh Explores Malta's WWII Legacy at Lascaris War Rooms and Operation Husky Museum

Upon his request, HRH the Duke of Edinburgh visited the Lascaris War Rooms and the new Operation HUSKY Museum. Accompanied by Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna chairman Mario Farrugia, the Duke of Edinburgh came to appreciate the pivotal role of the War HQ and of Malta not only in the battle for the Mediterranean and of North Africa, but as the command centre for the Allied invasion of Sicily in July 1943.
