Ambjent Malta has replaced a large number of missing and eroded stone banisters lining the graceful entrance into the Saluting Battery from the Upper Barracca gardens in Valletta. FWA has completed the restoration of the large timber garrison gate which secures the main access into the Second World War British Combined War HQ tunnels from Battery Street, Valletta. This gate was badly eroded as a result of the persistent water ingress problem into the wartime underground complex besides being infested with wood worm.
